Shack Breakfast & Lunch

Love a good breakfast and since we were close by we stopped here. The number of options was crazy so I took the recommendation from the server. Also ordered a pancake and some French toast. French toast was the better of the two but both were great. Pancake was huge! Wife ordered biscuits and gravy which was really good too.

The food was really good and our server Hunter was amazing! Only thing is it’s a little pricey but so is everything nowadays

My my my...This was delicious! I cant say enough about The King pancake. The best breakfast item in Kansas city...fight me! I had " Why the french hate us" it was awesome. My buddy had something about somebody going to jail. It was very good aswell. But as I said the King Pancake is out of bounds. The atmosphere is great with good music playing and the bloody Mary's were on point. Will definitely return!

First time eating at Shack breakfast and Lunch. It was a very busy Saturday morning and one of the waitresses greeted us. It was extremely busy and she sat us very quickly. I wish I had her name for this review as she did outstanding. Food was also a 10 out of 10. The breakfast sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. I don't live in Kansas City but next time I'm visiting I will definitely stop there.

We had such a great brunch at The Shack in Overland Park today! Hunter and Emily were absolutely awesome—super personable, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The service was quick, friendly, and just what you hope for when you’re out for a relaxed weekend meal. Thanks for taking great care of us!

Great service. Excellent food. Had the chicken and waffles. Far more than I could even eat. Definitely worth it. We reserved our spot on the wait list before arriving.

Food was really good! Hash brown and fries were crisps like we asked and everything was seasoned. I didn’t even remember to get a pic of the fries they were so good lol Service got a 4 because we weren’t told refills on drinks weren’t free and the wait when it was pretty empty that day.

My dear friend is in town visiting her mom, and I zip in to OPKS (overland park kansas) to see her! Her sister recommended this place, so off we go! Walk in, and at first, I'm thinking, "Wow, a dive" because obviously guests have written all over the walls, etc. But! It's extremely clean. We're seated in a booth (yay), and our server, Michaela, arrives within seconds. She's super friendly and efficient. The menu is funky, and funny names for dishes are very clever. Seriously, everything looks extraordinarily tasty, and I finally decide on the "tostada ensalada." Nic has the "do I look big in these pants." (See? Isn't that clever?) My tostado arrives, and it literally is as big as my head. It's just massive! Plus, when I pick it up to eat it, it's so big that stuff falls off and onto my hands, face, and fingers. It's pretty awkward, but boy! It's one of the tastiest I've ever eaten. There's ALOT of mixed greens but I can still taste the beans, guacamole, tomatoes and cheese. Nice combo despite the over abundance of greens. The avocado dressing is super creamy and it tastes alot like ranch as I didn't taste much avocado. It's still very good though! Nics dish was pronounced great and her fruit side looked especially fresh. The bathroom was as "divey " as the restaurant but again, very clean. There are other items on the menu I'd like to try so I'll shoehorn hubby into the car and come again! It's we'll worth the trip. Great food, service and it's not pricey at all! I also want to try their alcoholic milkshakes (for comparison purposes only versus "the burger stand" ones. Definitely next time!
